Explanatory notes and references

Horseshoe Bottom Presbyterian Church was the predecessor to FCPM; it was located 2 1/2 miles outside of The City of Monongahela in Carroll Township. The adjoining church cemetery still exists and is one of the oldest in the Monongahela area.
